At an early age, I was introduced to eBay. I bought basketball and football cards but I was intrigued by the seller side of it. My senior year of high school and into my early college years, my girlfriend and I (now my wife) used to create our own custom McFarlane figures. We bought standard figures, painted and customized them into other players that did not exist and sold them on eBay. This particular figure sold for $160. We created more figures, most of them selling at $50 - $80. At this point, I was taking basics in College, selling online changed the way I thought about making money. I was ready to quit school.

Working in the office began to take it's toll on me. I was drained, making minimum payments on my car and student loans. At one point, I had a little less than $900 to my account. Was this the Career and life that I wanted? I reinvested that $900 into random goods that I found at garage sales, swap meets and thrift stores so I could resell them on Craigslist and eBay. My friend Lonny and I set our schedule every Saturday, we were both determined to make and save money. He was saving for his new married life while I was saving to be debt free. These regular Saturday hunting days were fun and I improved my hustling skills... in a little over a year, my side money was now more than my career salary.

I love helping people, graphic design, sneakers, old school NBA basketball and making money online.
My love for art and design started when I was a young child, I loved drawing my own cartoon characters and illustrating pictures. Later during my childhood years, I began to collect NBA Basketball Cards. Design and Money influenced my new hobby. I was attracted to the structure, lines, color, typography and design of the card mixed with the net worth and rarity of a certain cards of a popular player. My cousin Aaron and I were fascinated by cards, we loved them, loved searching the value of them on the most current Beckett Magazine and we even decided to just design our own.. pure paper & colored pencil greatness.
I didn't quit school (I listened to my parents) and graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in December of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communication Studies. I worked as a part-time Graphic Designer and was hired as a Full-Time Graphic Designer soon after I graduated. Not working one day into this new paid "Career", I bought a brand new car, not just because I felt like I earned it (going through college), but I needed one and I was going to live the happy, money filled journey that college had "promised." A couple of years working 8 to 5 with over $50,000 in combined student, car and credit card loans changed that whole idea very quickly.
In 2014, I quit my job as a Marketing Coordinator and took a pay cut to work with my parents at our family business, Badgeworks Plus. I now have the flexibility to grow my YouTube Channel, eCommerce stores' and design logos for multiple clients.

I have paid off my debt and currently net over six figures a year selling on eBay and Amazon. I do what I love to do. I spend time with my family, design for multiple clients and make money online. It is a life that I did not know could or would come true. I have barely touched the surface of e-commerce, but I have goals each and every month. I truly believe you need multiple income streams in order to build money. I relied on 1 income stream because that's what I believed was right.
